Dr. Bruce Peters is board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery with sub-specialty training in Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery. He treats adult patients with ear, nose & throat disorders as well as adults with facial cosmetic/reconstructive concerns. Dr. Peters attended Albright College where he received a BS in Biology. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and remains a Clinical Associate Professor at that institution. Further Fellowship training in his sub specialty interest of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami was under the tutelage of internationally renowned master facial cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Robert L. Simons, who helped prepare him for clinical practice. To this training he added his own artistic ability and the resulting product is a surgeon with a passion for superior results and top-quality medical care. Since then he has been in private practice in Central New Jersey helping thousands of patients with their ear, nose and throat and facial plastic needs. With his excellent results and sterling reputation, he commonly gets patients from all over the region. Dr. Peters keeps up with the latest surgical techniques and skillfully applies it to all his cosmetic and reconstructive surgery patients. He has a special interest in nasal surgery and thyroid disorders. He enjoys family life with his wife Carolyn and two wonderful daughters, Olivia and Sarah. Dr. Peters is an avid golfer and sport fisherman. The Bey Lea Ambulatory Surgical Center serves as Dr. Peters’ outpatient and cosmetic surgical facility where he serves as Medical Director and Co-Manager. The staff in both his office and the adjacent surgicenter will welcome you with respect, compassion and privacy. He takes extra time with each patient to ensure their goals are met. He prides himself on guiding them through the entire process, from first consultation to the final postoperative visit. He has Medical Staff privileges in Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. and Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ for those patients who require overnight hospitalization.
