Rajat Sood, APN started his career as a hotelier in five star hotels after receiving bachelors of arts in hospitality management from Robert Gordon University Aberdeen Scotland in 2002. His experience working with people in the hotel industry encouraged him to care for people in more meaningful way. This led to his journey in healthcare. APN, Sood received his associates of nursing from Ocean County College in 2010 and later received his bachelors of science in nursing from Kane University in 2014. He began his professional career as a registered nurse in the surgical stepdown unit at community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey. After several years in the surgical stepdown unit he ventured into his new role as a post anesthesia care unit nurse. His experience as a post anesthesia care unit nurse and surgical stepdown nurse helped his passion for patient care grow. He was then motivated to further his career as an advanced practice nurse. During his time as an RN, Rajat Sood obtained his masters of science in nursing from the Felician University in 2018. He holds the certification as a family nurse practitioner from American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. APN Sood then received his training as an ENT nurse practitioner from the renowned ENT physician Dr. Bruce W. Peters and Dr. Stephen B. Kupferberg in 2019. Under their guidance he has been serving the residents of Ocean and Monmouth County with their ENT needs as a key member of Ocean Otolaryngology Associates. APN Sood enjoys family life with his wife APN Neelam Sood and to wonderful daughters, Aarya and Arushi.
